Subject: Top Ten 'farmers' in the USA

A real free trade agreement isn't a inch-thick book written by bankers and
corporate lawyers - it's a simple agreement that includes similar
environmental and labor standards between countries that engage in trade
(slavery is not an acceptable 'comparative advantage'). What are commonly
referred to as 'free trade agreements' are actually just recipes for
colonial rule by corporate interests - the kind of thing the British East
India Company engaged. Such agreements were one of the main motivations for
the American Revolution.

The fact of the matter is that bankers now control US agribusiness
corporations. Here are the top ten 'farmers' in the United States:

1. WAL-MART STORES . . . . . . . . $ BILLION
2. PHILIP MORRIS COS. . . . . . . . . .$ BILLION
3. BANK OF AMERICA. . . . . . . . . . $ BILLION
4. KROGER . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . $ BILLION
5. AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL GROUP. . $ BILLION
6. PROCTER & GAMBLE . . . . . . . . .$ BILLION
7. ALBERTSON'S . . . . . . . . . . . . .$ BILLION
8. SAFEWAY . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ BILLION
9. DU PONT DE NEMOURS . . . . . . .$ BILLION
10. CONAGRA . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ BILLION

Here's an idea: quit supporting these corporations and go to farmers markets
instead.
