As I recall, we voted against tax spending for CoAmerica Park as well.
They managed to sneak it in as a rider to some law or another. They just
voted for a new tax that will force residents of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb
Counties to pay a tax to support the Detroit Zoo. Fuck that zoo!
