You are in the wind alley?
Quillomine Area has a good sized wind farm >
/wind-farms/

You would think GE would have supplied the gear?
Some outfit in Norway I think it was supplied the generators.

I think you can still get state assistance if you want to up load to the
utility mains which means a certified inverter and switch gear.
So far I know of noone doing it because power is so cheap the payback is
a long time unless you are total electric with $ /mo. power bill.
You generate DC and invert it in sync with the mains and run your watt
meter backwards and so far as I know they don't cash you out but rather
give you credits if you load more than you use.

We have a home in Yakima and one in Seattle and the wind don't blow
enough for us to do generators and solar electric panels still run about
$ /75 watt panel. I use one on the camper and can have all the DC I
need to keep some big Trojan batteries charged and run a 2500 watt
inverter for TV and misc stuff like fluorescent lighting.
