He portrayed himself as a "median" kind of fellow, a uniter. During
the first years of the Bush admin. He's a likeable man, who has been
on Jon Stewart's comedy show more than a few times.
Now? I agree with you. He's either showing his true side or desperate
for Republican votes. I once thought highly of him. Not all that
much now.
What do I know? I'm a Canadian, just like you. (And our American
cousins often fail to notice how our attention is valid).
We hired a fellow from New Orleans last Spring at my computer company
in Markham, Ontario. He was a white fellow, a Democrat. I had a few
drinks with him and it was me who told him for the first time ever that
Ray Nagin was originally a Republican!
Did he really have to travel to Canada to know that shit from the likes
of me? LOL!

Incidentally, I thought that Kerry was an asshole in 2004, but Bush was
just more of one. No wonder why Americans have issues with
leadership.
