That's right. And, in addition to that, the Iraqi government dismissed
the John Hopkins number as unreasonable. ORB included the word
"murdered" in its report, which automatically shows bias. And George
Soros provided half the funding for the Lancet study. I think the
agenda is on the part of leftists who want to believe the higher
number. It gives them some sort of strangely *sick* comfort to believe
the higher number.

The UN says a "significant proportion" of those were displaced prior
to 2003. Of course that's a problem. Too bad the terrorists kept
targeting Iraqi civilians after the fall of Saddam, or there could
have been peace in Iraq a long time ago.

Are you one of those leftists who think everything in Iraq was just
peaches and cream during Saddam's reign? You don't remember the 5000
children who were dying every month due to the UN sanctions? Or the
hundreds of thousands of Iraqis found in Saddam's mass graves? Or the
children who were tortured while their parents were forced to watch
(to punish the parents, of course, by forcing them to watch their
children being tortured)? Or women being gang raped while their
husbands were forced to watch (to punish the husband, of course by
forcing him to watch his wife being gang raped by Saddam's thugs)?
