Notice he doesn't say "...a good one LIKE..." -- like whom? It's the
same kind of division among the left-leaning that made those well-meaning
people throw the election to Bush by voting for Nader. (Wanna see
something even more viscerally knee-jerk than Clinton-hatred? Challenge
a Nader voter.)
But you echo my point -- yeah, anyone can make a case that this or that
Democrat will embolden the Republicans, and they're all correct. The
right will whinge and wail against *any* Democratic President, and I don't
think the family name enters into it in any meaningful way.
Arguing that one or some other Democrat will be more or less well-
received by right-wingers is foolishness in the extreme.
