Nixon wasn't in Vietnam lol In fact, he wasn't even President at that
time. btw, Nixon was from a Quaker family. You know those people who don't

Mai Lai was more the result of a platoon of young nervous soldiers than
anything else. It happened during the Tet Offensive when the combined forces
of the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong attacked about 100 cites and
towns including Saigon during what was supposed to be an agreed upon cease
fire for the Tet holiday. The US and the other allies did mange to drive
them all back after they recovered from the surprise attacks but it tooks
them a few months. Tet I believe was about on Feb 1 and the Mai Lai killing
I think was sometime in March.
