I have brought you an argument, my son. I have no obligation to
bring you to an understanding if you are unable to do so using your
own intellect. But let me repeat the comment of yours to which I
was referring --

"Your posts are repetitive: sneering, dishonest, mean-spirited -
and still you post to champion an unChristian greed and selfishness.
I'm truly sorry you've chosen to describe yourself as an American
citizen in this international forum; it's yet another embarrassment to
have you parody the . GrandOilParty's ultrarightwingers by posting
a constant flood of drivel."

Is there somewhere within those words that is not filled with ad hominem,
personal abuse, character assassination, insults, fanatic religious ravings,
or efforts to poison the well while having the slightest intention of offering a
rational comment of any kind? The only thing I see that you forgot to claim
is that he _beats his wife_.

This is not meant as any _defense_ for PJ, who sometimes causes
me to shake my head in wonder at his comments. Nor does he expect
or need any defense since he has a right to speak his mind, just as you
have a right to disagree with him. But I do not find personal abuse an
acceptable form of disagreement, and I have a right to that opinion,
despite your implication that I do not. In my disagreements with .,
I do not resort to the petty bitterness that dominates your every word
in that _tirade_. Yes... "tirade." It proves nothing other than you seem
to lack a real argument.

If you're here to offer a reasonable opinion, please do so. If you're here
to do nothing but heap abuse upon those who have different views than
you do, I should tell you that our quota is already filled with that particular
type in this newsgroup. I often fill one of those positions myself, and
I take umbrage... yes, umbrage... at your intentions to overfill our quota.
