Bush: Give Telecom Firms Immunity For Wiretapping

President Bush said Wednesday that he will not sign a new eavesdropping bill
if it does not grant retroactive immunity to . telecommunications
companies that helped conduct electronic surveillance without court orders.

A proposed bill unveiled by Democrats on Tuesday does not include such a
provision. Bush, appearing on the South Lawn as that measure was taken up in
two House committees, said the measure is unacceptable for that and other
reasons.

The time for schticky tired arguments about supposed civil libertiies is
long past. President Bush should not only be given more power to enact his
brilliant ideology of Freedom but should be given ALL power. Since he has
kept us all safe every day since 9/11, the least we can do is to cater to
his every whim and obey him as if he speaks the words of God (which he
does).

Make no mistake - any action that could even be misconstrued as diobedience
to our beloved Leader will not be tollerated. Wiretapping must continue.
Torture must continue. War must continue. We can and must encourage
President Bush to slaughter every living creature on Earth if it means we
will be kept safe from terror one more day and save his family's honor.
